The question of visa liberalisation is of critical importance for almost all Georgians. As the European Union passes it in 2017, it could transform the lives of many people. From students, who want to travel to Europe to study, to professional musicians who want to perform in Europe, to businessmen, who need to travel. There were fears in Georgia that procrastination on the issue could play into the hands of Russia.
