On April 11-12, 2017 the OPEN Media Hub carried out a Master Class in Media Management for Broadcast Media from Algeria.
The Master Class was led by Zine El Abidine Hamda whose professional life has been shared between teaching and the media. A co-founder of the Tunisian section of Amnesty International, he is currently General Secretary of Al-Jamiaa Al-Maftouha. Zine El Abidine Hamda was News Producer –writer researcher with MBC; Head of Productions, Head of Programming , Deputy Vice President, North Africa development & productions and Vice President Arabic Channels with ORBIT Communication Company, Radio & television Network (Italy). He has been organising production operations: planning, logistics, budgets, filming, planning and budgeting acquisitions. He is a director of documentaries on cultural diversity in the Mediterranean, his latest film, La Mané des Sables, tells the story of the group of small singers of the cathedral of Tunis from the 1950s to the present day. Correspondent in Paris since 2013 of the daily Al-Maghrib, he published a novel, Les Héritiers infidèles, Éditions Amalthée, Nantes. His latest book is an essay, “Political Islam in the Face of Tunisian Society. From political compromise to historical compromise?”
