The OPEN Media Hub has launched its work placement programme, giving reporters from the Neighbourhood countries the opportunity to share experience with colleagues from media in the EU member states and produce content relevant to their audiences and related to the European Union.
The first of this series is being realised in cooperation with the Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR), who are hosting four journalists from Armenia and Ukraine during the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU. The reporters are working with the news teams of the Russian language TV Channel ETV+, of Radio 4, and of the ERR Russian language website . The reporters are working on the coverage of the Presidency events and on other newsworthy stories relevant to the audiences of ERR and their home media. The stories they have developed will be published by EER and the respective media outlets at home and will be also made available on our Content Sharing Platform for further international use and reuse.
This is the first of a series of work placements which will take place over the following months, taking journalists from all EU Neighbourhood countries to a variety of different host media organisations throughout the European Union.
