What Is The Plot of 65 Movie?
One thing we know for sure is that the 65 is going to have some very villainous creatures that we don’t see in science-fiction thrillers too often, and no, it isn’t aliens or zombies, but dinosaurs. As for the title, if the number 65 has you confused, we’re going to clear that confusion very soon!
65 revolves around pilot Mills, who has suffered a terrible crash and finds himself stranded on Earth, which next to no survivors. Now, here is where the title of the movie comes into play.
Mills might be stranded on earth; however, the year isn’t 2022, or even this decade, or century, or even thousands of years ago. 65 takes place on Earth, 65 million years ago. Mills soon realizes that he isn’t the only survivor and is now responsible for his own survival and that of a little girl named Koa. As the official synopsis states:
“Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.”
The most dangerous prehistoric creatures known to all of us are dinosaurs and there are going to be plenty of those in 65, because by the looks of it, it is their world, and Mills and Koa have caused some disruption. As we mentioned before, 65 is a movie about survival, but in a war against dinosaurs, do Mills and Koa stand a chance?
The Cast of 65 Movie
One of the best parts of any Sam Raimi production is the cast, and 65 will be no exception. There are two main characters in this movie, Mills, and Koa, the two survivors who must battle against these enormous creatures and try to stay alive for the duration of the movie.
Firstly, we have pilot Mills, who will be played by none other than Adam Driver. Adam Driver is best known for playing some very intense roles that involve a whole lot of emotions whether it is his performance in Marriage Story or the Star Wars franchise.
Undoubtedly, he is a versatile actor, and the perfect choice to play pilot Mills. This role needed to be fulfilled by someone big and strong, and Adam Driver fits the bill perfectly.
Although he has experience with science-fiction movies, it goes without saying that 65 will be a lot different from Star Wars. It will be interesting to see Adam Driver at his most rugged in the upcoming movie.
Next to Adam Driver, we have the other survivor, Koa, who will be played by Ariana Greenblatt, who has been labeled one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood for her age. At the age of 15, Ariana made appearances in several movies and tv shows, including Marvel Cinematic Universe, where she played a young Gamora.
Ariana is one of the most talented actresses in Hollywood, and it will be interesting to see her in 65 next to Adam Driver, who seems to have taken a fatherly role.
The supporting cast will include several…dinosaurs. The human cast of 65 is fairly limited, however, it has been rumored that Chloe Coleman will appear in this movie, however, her role is a mystery.
When and Where Can You Watch 65?
65 has been in its production stages for a while now, and the release date has often changed since 2020. According to different sources, the movie was supposed to release in 2022, and much to everyone’s dismay, 65 has been pushed to a later date, however, it isn’t too far away.
2023 is going to be a big year for cinema, with some major productions and titles releasing, and 65 has officially joined the race. The movie will be available to watch on the 10th of March, 2023.
Since this is a science-fiction thriller and consists of some vicious and humongous dinosaurs, it makes sense that it would release in the theatres first so that viewers can experience the thrill on the big screen.

Sony Pictures Entertainment recently released the official trailer for 65, which is almost three minutes long and has already garnered a lot of attention with over fifteen million views.
Now, this large viewership could consist of science-fiction fans, Adam Driver fans, Sam Raimi fans, and even dinosaur fans! However, we completely understand why this trailer has so many views because it embodies several genres in one, but mostly thriller, and science-fiction with a sprinkle of horror because of some jump scares that even we couldn’t prepare you for.
We catch a glimpse into Adam Driver’s performance in 65 and frankly, we’re in awe because while there could have been several actors up for this role, no one could do it as well as Driver.
