19th February 2019

Details: Andrei was born and grew up in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. Last year, during one of the evenings when he was reflecting upon his future, his hidden emotions and internal conflicts he realized that by hiding his sexual orientation, he is destroying himself. Therefore, right in that night he came out as gay on social media. Soon after, he began receiving threats and when the police told him that they cannot help him, he decided to move to Chisinau and address to Gender-Doc, an LGBT NGO. Now he works as a waiter, participates in LGBT events and openly discusses his sexual orientation.
