OPEN Media Hub

The Project OPEN Media Hub: Networking, on-the-job training and support to media professionals across the EU Neighbourhood area (EuropeAid/136510/DH/SER/Multi) is part of the European Union Programme OPEN Neighbourhood: opportunities, participation, engagement and networking” and is implemented by a consortium led by Thomson Foundation. The Consortium includes Action Global, European Journalism Centre, Free Press Unlimited, France Médias Monde, Ipsos Mori and Particip. The OPEN Media Hub project follows up on two previous EU funded projects – the Media Neighborhood and the European Neighbourhood Journalism Network.

Launch of the First Network of French-Speaking Investigative Journalists in Tunis: Always Closer to the Truth!

Short summary: Several collaborative professional initiatives emerged on the sidelines of the 1st International Assises of Journalism which took place in Tunis from November 15th to 17th. Among these ambitious projects is the Initiative Impact Investigation Network, which is currently bringing together investigative journalists from several African countries and France, and should enable them to carry out transnational investigations, for greater efficiency and to always be closer to the truth. The article inckudes an interview with Tunsian investihgatve reporter Hanene Zbiss abd was created during an OPEN Media Hub workshop on migration reporting in Tunis in November 2018.
