The article is about the language used in the leaflets accompanying medicines and argues that despite legal protections of the consumers and their rights to information the majority of medicines in the autonomous region of Taraclia are being sold without leaflets in Russian or Bulgarian – the two major languages spoken there.
The story provides examples from the EU and informs that the AA and DFTA signed with the EU requires thorough implementation of consumer protection, including the use of the popular regional languages in information materials about all types of products and especially medicine.
