Animated shows are all the hype these days, and honestly, we completely understand. Several animated shows have taken over regular viewing, from Rick and Morty to Big Mouth, to Archer and of course, American Dad! Created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman, American Dad! is giving tough competition to shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons, which have been around for 21 and 34 seasons respectively. It would make sense that American Dad! has lasted for 19 seasons now since it has the same creators as Family Guy. Although people often compare American Dad! and Family Guy, and while the two shows do have similarities, they aren’t directly related to each other. American Dad! has a charm and fan following of its own.

Has American Dad! Been Renewed for Season 20?
American Dad! has not officially been renewed for season 20 just yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be, so don’t be disheartened just yet. So far, we know that the production of the show has been fairly quick compared to other animated shows and they tend to announce the renewal of two seasons together. We’re hoping that in the upcoming weeks, there is an official confirmation of American Dad! season 20 and hopefully, 21 as well

The creators haven’t revealed the plot of American Dad! season 20 is just yet, but our best guess is that they will most likely follow the same premise that they have so far, which has been a recipe for success amongst fans and critics. American Dad! season 20 will continue following the lives of the Smith family and the people who live with them, who make their lives all the more interesting. There are several chaotic storylines in every episode but that’s what makes the show funny, along with plenty of dark humor, which the fans seem to enjoy.
