Details: | Karen Hilal is a Lebanese activist who had been participating in the protests since 2015. Southern village Arab Jal’s girl drew attention after she had broken into the Association of Banks’ building with four friends of hers. Karen, like other activists, considers that banks are the main accomplices of the authority in the impoverishment of people because of adopted fiscal policies for decades. Thus, in her opinion, overthrowing the banks hegemony is a priority. |
