A decade ago, one of the most prominent films of this generation released, Avatar. Since then, everyone has waited around patiently for something that amazing to grace their screens once again. Prayers have finally been answered now that the second part of Avatar is coming to the big screen. Avatar The Way of Water was truly long overdue, but as the say, good things come to those who wait.
Avatar 2 will be directed by the legendary director James Cameron, and produced by 20th Century Studios. Cameron had planned the release of this film years ago, however, back then, the technology wasn’t advanced enough for Cameron’s vision to come true. Nevertheless, after several delays and years of being in production, both filming and editing, Avatar: The Way of Water is due to release in 2022! Here’s everything you need to know about it:

What Will The Plot of Avatar 2 be?
A while ago, before we were even aware of the title of this sequel, James Cameron had teased a little about what the plot might revolve around. So as we put together the pieces, we believe that Avatar: The Way of Water will focus on Jake Sully and Neytiri. The entire movie will revolve around them and their family, and how they might be forced to explore the unexplored regions of Pandora. As the title suggests, a lot of the film will take place in water, which would explain the delay in filming because of the lack of technology.
Avatar 2 will also introduce us to the aquatic Na’vi tribe and how the Sully family engages with them. The sequel will be all about family, love, community and the ability to protect one another in the face of danger. The events of this film take place a decade after the first film, much like the release pattern. So hopefully the film helps fill in the gaps of what happened in the last ten years.
The Cast of Avatar 2
Even though the first Avatar film had plenty going on for it, from plot to production, one of the best things about it was the cast. They truly stole the show and made the film what it was. So, there is no doubt that the fans are curious about whether or not the cast will be reprising their roles for the sequel, and whether will they see any new faces in the film.
