Black Panther Wakanda Forever Release Date

If you’ve been around for a while, you have been able to witness the growth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first Iron Man film was released in 2008, which began Phase One of the MCU. Since then, we have been introduced to endless superheroes, villains, futuristic technology, great battles, and some very beloved characters. Out of all these films, one that garnered a lot of attention worldwide was Black Panther. The first Black Panther film was released in 2018, and since then, fans have been more than eager for the second one.

Most superheroes like Thor, Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America, have all gotten three or more independent movies, and everyone has the same hope for Black Panther too. Although the third movie isn’t in sight yet, people are more than thrilled about the second Black Panther movie, which is set to release in 2022, and will be titled Black Panther 2. Here is everything you need to know about this movie, from the plot to its cast, to the release date and more:

What Will Be The Plot of Black Panther 2 ?

Before we dive into the plot, it is important to note that what we might see in this film might be a little different from what was originally planned. The death of Chadwick Boseman shook the entire fandom and world up, and because the creators decided that they wouldn’t replace his character with someone else, the plot of Black Panther 2 might be a little different without T’Challa.

Plot Of Black Panther 2

Nevertheless, we are more than sure that the creators have a lot in store for us. We will be transported to Wakanda and surely things will be a little different as the country has found a new place for itself in the Universe. We are unaware of where this film might fit on the Marvel timeline but we expect it to be after Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. The plot of Black Panther 2 is based after the death of their King T’Challa and the adversaries faced by Wakanda. There are new threats to the nation and everyone must come together to fight them and protect their country.

The Cast of Black Panther Wakanda Forever

There is a void in the cast that no one will ever be able to fill in, but with that in mind, fans do hope that their other favourite cast members will reprise their roles for the upcoming film, Black Panther 2. Considering the plot revolves around Wakanda after the death of King T’Challa, there will be a lot of characters returning to make Wakanda what it truly is. We will see Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Florence Kasumba Angela Bassett, and Danai Gurira.

Cast Of Black Panther 2

As for some of the new characters, we can expect to see Dominique Thorne who will be playing the role of Iron Heart. It will be interesting to someone as smart as Tony Stark back in the MCU. There will also be Tenoch Huerta, who will be playing the role of Namor. Those who have read the comics might recognize this character. There might be a few more characters as surprises or potential easter eggs, but it is only a matter of time before we find out who they are.

Fans have also been eager to know about the return of Michael B. Jordan as his character became a fan favourite after the first film. Although his role in the new film is still a question mark, it would be interesting to see him on Wakanda’s side this time around, fighting for the country.

When and Where Can You Watch Black Panther Wakanda Forever?

The announcement and rumours of Black Panther 2 movie have been around for a while and now finally everything can be put to rest with the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The movie was originally set to release on the 6th of May in 2022, and then it was later postponed to the 8th of July. So, fans have had to go through a rollercoaster of dates, and now finally Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will release on the 11th of November.

Black Panther 2 will be available to watch on the big screen, which makes it even more exciting and hopefully no more waves of COVID will ruin that experience for the fans. However, those who cannot watch the movie on the big screen, will be able to watch it soon enough when it premieres on Disney+.

Is There a Trailer for Black Panther Wakanda Forever?

Are you ready to experience some serious chills down your spine? if so, the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer will most certainly get the job done. The first Black Panther film was grand, and fans were convinced that would be the grandest production by Marvel, that was until they saw the trailer for Black Panther 2.

The trailer boasts the beauty and purity that Wakanda encompasses, along with the spirit of patriotism and fight amongst Wakandans. There is also a beautiful teaser trailer, set to the song “No Woman No Cry” which is remixed with Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.”

Who Will Be The Next Black Panther?

If it wasn’t for the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, this question would have never risen. However, Boseman’s death also meant the demise of King T’Challa AKA Black Panther. Now, there’s a big question mark on who will take upon the mantel of Black Panther. The trailer suggests that the new Black Panther might be a woman, which would be a welcome change in pace. Our best guess is Shuri, T’Challa’s sister and one of the most badass women of Marvel.

Conclusion

There’s no doubt that fans are now anxious waiting for the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, especially after all the unanswered questions that will hopefully be addressed through this film. November 11th truly cannot come soon enough as this movie will also be the final movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4. So, do stay back for the end credits, as they should tell us about what might happen next.
