Let’s have a quick recap of the story so far. The story is about Ichigo who can see ghosts and tries to help them but everything changes one day when he meets a shinigami Rukia. During his encounter with Rukia, a hollow appears (hollows are evil spirits) and Rukia gets badly injured, to defeat the hollow Ichigo becomes a substitute sour reaper.
In Bleach Thousand Year Blood War arc we see Quincies coming back and starting they killed Hollows then went to invade the soul society. Many incidents happened starting with the bankai getting stolen and then the death of head captain Yamamoto. Ichigo arrives after the death of Yamamoto and gets slapped by Yhwach.
Ichigo along with other soul reapers goes to zero division to recover and gets a huge power buff. At the end of season 1, we see Ichigo getting his 2 swords.
Season 2 will start where season 1 ended and we will see the captain having a rematch with the Quincies who stole their bankai. And this time they will get their bankai back.
It has not yet been announced how many episodes will be aired so it’s hard to tell as there are many iconic moments in the upcoming chapters of the manga.
