Although it’s fairly vague, the first official Blue Beetle synopsis was released along with the first trailer. It concerns Jaime Reyes, a new college graduate. When Jaime comes home with high hopes for the future, he discovers that things have changed. Fate steps in as he looks for his place in the universe.

At this point, Jaime unintentionally acquires the Scarab, a long-forgotten artifact of extra-terrestrial biotechnology. Scarab unexpectedly selects Jaime to be its symbiotic host, and as a result, he is given an amazing outfit of armor. It has extraordinary, unpredictable abilities at its disposal.

As a result, he becomes the heroic Blue Beetle, which permanently alters his course. Blue Beetle has been adopted by other superheroes besides Reyes. He is essentially the third character to take on the role in the comics. In 1939, Dan Garret, the first Blue Beetle, debuted in comic books.
