Blue Exorcist Plot

There are two dimensions in the world of Blue Exorcist. One is a reflection of the other, like a mirror. The first realm is the Assiah of humans, and the other is Gehenna, the world of demons ruled by satan.

At first, there was no link between the world which allowed them to walk in the other world, but demons occasionally wander among humans by using living being to cross the different worlds. To destroy the humans who crossed the threshold, exorcists were born whose sole job is to find and finish such demons. Over time the exorcist team had grown and deployed several branches worldwide, secretly managed by the command of the Vatican covertly.

He enrolls in True Cross Academy and exorcist cram school run by True Cross Order. Rin learns that Yukio is a veteran exorcist and is also one of his teachers.
