Before we get into the review let’s talk about what has happened so far in the story. We will try to keep this short. Tanjiro is a guy who earns money by selling coal to the nearby village. One day after returning from his job he found his family to be slaughtered.

The only person who survived was his sister Nezuko but she was turned into a demon. This is where the demon Slayer is different from other shounen. In other shounen anime where the main character wants to be this that out Tanjiro only wants to turn his sister back into human.

After the fight with the upper moon, 6 Uzui resigned as an active demon Slayer though he will train the new demon slayers in the future. There was more in the recap but the main part comes when Akaza was summoned to the infinity hall which happens when an upper moon is killed.

The way infinity hall was shown is just mind-blowing the way the tower keeps going up, the door opens leading to another room and continues. Just looking at the animation it can be said that Ufotable did a great job this time.

Then we are introduced to all the upper moons and Muzan who shows his disappointment in the upper ranks and gets more pissed when the upper rank 5 tries to please Muzan by lying and pays the price by losing his head to Muzan. Although he survives a fight breaks out between the top three upper ranks.
