Disney Twisted-Wonderland Release Date
Disney Twisted-Wonderland or you can call it Dizunī Tsuisuteddo Wandārando, is a popular Japanese mobile game created in collaboration with Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan. The planning, script, and character design in charge is Yana Tobosa the creator of Black Butler.
The manga adaptation was done by Wakana Hazuki and Sumire Kowono and they have closely followed the light novel and the game in particular so that the fans feel connected to it. The manga was serialized in Square Enix’s magazine from March 2021 onwards and has been licensed by Disney as well.
The game was officially released in Japan on March 18, 2020. Soon, due to its huge fan base and popularity, Disney announced the anime project named Disney Twisted-Wonderland on October 2021 and since then no news has been shared about it.
We think that it’s unlikely for Disney to drop the project because they must have invested a lot of time and money on it already and we should get hear from them about Disney Twisted-Wonderland by 2024, although there’s a slim chance of it being released this year but we can expect the release by 2024 or 2025.
Disney Twisted-Wonderland Plot & Expectations
The plot is based on Yu, whose name can be changed or selected according to the player’s wish. Yu gets summoned to another world by a magical mirror and finds himself at the magic training school named Night Ravens Collge, yes the plot sounds similar to harry potter but with some unique elements.
The protagonist is called in by the school’s headmaster and through him he gets acquainted with the school’s top students belonging to seven different dormitories. While living life in the magical school he tries to find a way to get back to his home and the question is whether his journey will be as easy as it sounds? or if will he be faced with challenges greater than his shoulders can take on.
Furthermore, in the magical world, the player suffers from amnesia and has no recollection of their past lives, they are forced to become the errand boy in the ramshackle dorm.
We may witness characters like Grim, Ace, and Deuce who will cause trouble and will be on the verge of getting expelled from the school, but the headmaster tells them of a special condition by which they can come out of their miserable life. The characters discover their abilities and try to become the ace students of the school.
