The post-credit scene featured Dr. John Watson, who has been introduced in these movies for the very first time. He is most likely to become Sherlock’s roommate in the upcoming movie, Enola Holmes 3.
It would feel like unfair bait to introduce a popular character and not explore it. Apart from Watson, Enola Holmes 2 also featured Moriarty, who will be Sherlock’s constant opponent in future movies.
Enola Holmes 2 seemed to have laid a lot of groundwork for future works, which hints at Enola Holmes 3. We are hoping for a confirmation of this movie in the upcoming months!
What Will The Plot of Enola Holmes 3 Be?
Since Enola Holmes 3 hasn’t been confirmed yet, we don’t have an official plot yet. However, it is clear as day that Sherlock will be more involved in Enola Holmes 3, along with Dr. Watson and Moriarty playing important roles as well.
The movies are based on Nancy Springer’s books, and her third book is titled, “The Case of the Bizzare Bouquets.” The book revolves around Enola’s latest case of finding the missing Dr. John Watson before her brother Sherlock does.
We must keep in mind that the movies only draw inspiration from the books and don’t really stick to the same storylines, so the plot remains a mystery.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see Sherlock and Enola work together once again, maybe assisted by Tewksbury and Dr. Watson. There’s no doubt that Moriarty will play a huge role in Enola Holmes 3 and there are likely to be new enemies and allies this time around. It’s only a matter of time before we find out more!

There’s no doubt that if there is an Enola Holmes 3, it will be available on Netflix. Since Enola Holmes 2 has been trending on Netflix since its release, it would be a shame for Netflix to let go of this new fan-favorite mystery franchise.
The first Enola Holmes movie was released in 2020, and Enola Holmes 2 was released in 2022. So, if we keep this pattern in mind, Enola Holmes 3 is most likely to release in 2024. It might be a while away, but it will most certainly be worth the wait.
