Euphoria Season 3: Release Date, Cast, Plot Trailer And More

One of the most binge-able teen dramas was introduced to us in June 2019, and frankly, the world hasn’t been the same since, and we are not even exaggerating. Euphoria Season 1 premiered in 2019, followed by a second season earlier this year, and people haven’t stopped talking about it. Whether it is the sensitive topic of drug addiction in teens, stellar acting, or glamorous outfits and make-up looks, there was something for everyone to talk about, and so they did, which made the existence of Euphoria Season 3 practically a no-brainer. Albeit, this generation can be a little impatient, and often paranoid about their favorite shows being canceled, but hopefully, they don’t have to worry about that with Euphoria.

Euphoria turned out to be one of the most successful shows in recent years, and we don’t always expect that from teen dramas. However, Euphoria was loved by fans and has been critically acclaimed too, making it extremely popular amongst different age groups. In fact, the filming for Euphoria Season 3 is meant to begin sometime in February 2023, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some behind the scene clips or photos around Valentine’s Day, because what’s more romantic than Maddy trying to sabotage Nate and Cassie? Even if Euphoria Season 3 hadn’t been officially confirmed, we could have seen this season coming to our screens from miles away because HBO would have to have a million reasons to cancel one of its most-watched shows since Game of Thrones.

Euphoria Season 2 saw the death of a beloved character, Ashtray, which leaves is broken-hearted for Fezco, who couldn’t make it to Lexi’s play and got arrested too. While there are several couples in this teen drama, the couple that fans have rooted for the most have been Lexi and Fezco, who are a prime example of opposites attract. Euphoria Season 3 needs to have more Lexie and Fezco moments.

Lexi and Fezco

Speaking of the finale and Lexie’s play, we cannot forget the explosive confrontation between Maddy and Cassie over Nate and the deception from Cassie’s side. While fans loved Cassie’s make-up and fashion sense, they have all been team Maddy, and honestly, so are we. Maddy’s character development over the two seasons has been impeccable and we can only hope that continues in Euphoria Season 3. It will be interesting to see how the Cassie-Nate-Maddy drama continues to play out in the upcoming season, but something tells us that Cassie isn’t going to be very happy in Euphoria Season 3. Could there be some room for redemption? We sure hope so!

Maddy and Cassie

Speaking of Nate, he became a rather villainous character in both seasons, with lying, cheating, and scheming, and a lot of that can be blamed on his upbringing. However, Nate finally made a bold decision at the end of Season 2, and now we just have to wait and see how that plays out in Euphoria Season 3. Also, our gut feeling tells us that Nate could possibly be heading away from Cassie and toward someone new altogether!

Nate,

Lastly, and most importantly, the main focus of the show will be Rue. This character has been through the biggest rollercoaster ride in the last two seasons and seeing her struggle with drug addiction, and recovery, while still grieving her father’s death, has truly been an emotional experience for everyone. Rue is finally coming to terms with herself and the relationships that she surrounds herself with, and it’s only a matter of time before we see how things for her play out in Euphoria Season 3. We’re wholeheartedly rooting for Rue.

The one cast member whose return has been questioned is Barbie Ferreira as Kat.
