Meet the trainers
Zoya has worked for more than twenty years in different departments of the BBC as a journalist, a producer, an editor in chief and as head of department. As a TV and Radio reporter of BBC News Zoya has covered events across the world and has worked in the UK, in Russia, Ukraine, USA, Israel, Afghanistan and Kuwait. For several years she was running one of the websites of the BBC and was in the management team which helped transform the Radio Service into a multimedia platform. Over the last few years Zoya helped create and led an experimental BBC department which developed new video content formats for TV and online, and created multimedia projects using animation, data visualisation and other innovative news technologies.
Alexander is a professional cameraman, editor and director with an extensive work experience in international news organisations. During his more than fifteen years of of work with the Associated Press and the BBC Alexander has covered events in many countries across the globe acting as a cameraman, editing news, directing live broadcasts, TV programmes and documentaries. Alexander has significant experience working as a consultant and trainer and has led training sessions for cameramen and journalists in many countries.
