The Project OPEN Media Hub: Networking, on-the-job training and support to media professionals across the EU Neighbourhood area (EuropeAid/136510/DH/SER/Multi) is part of the European Union Programme OPEN Neighbourhood: opportunities, participation, engagement and networking” and is implemented by a consortium led by Thomson Foundation. The Consortium includes Action Global, European Journalism Centre, Free Press Unlimited, France Médias Monde, Ipsos Mori and Particip. The OPEN Media Hub project follows up on two previous EU funded projects – the Media Neighborhood and the European Neighbourhood Journalism Network.
On April 28-29 and May 5-6, the OPEN Media Hub is organising and advanced production workshop for online media in Rabat, Morocco. The workshop will focus on development of advanced online production skills, use of text, video and data visualisation tools and will be practically orientated toward the production of real life stories to be published on the particioants’ media outlets and on the OPEN Media Hub Content Exchange Platform
The training will start with tow-day intense face to face training with the OPEN Media Hub experts, followed by one week of production work and expert’s consultatons and will finish with a second two-day intense workshop to finalise production.
