The Project OPEN Media Hub: Networking, on-the-job training and support to media professionals across the EU Neighbourhood area (EuropeAid/136510/DH/SER/Multi) is part of the European Union Programme OPEN Neighbourhood: opportunities, participation, engagement and networking” and is implemented by a consortium led by Thomson Foundation. The Consortium includes Action Global, European Journalism Centre, Free Press Unlimited, France Médias Monde, Ipsos Mori and Particip. The OPEN Media Hub project follows up on two previous EU funded projects – the Media Neighborhood and the European Neighbourhood Journalism Network.
On September 27-28,2017 the OPEN Media Hub is organising a Master Class in Media Management for Broadcast Media from Palestine.

Meet the trainer
Mustafa Isaid is a Media Advisor with more than 15 years of experience in Media development, format creation, content strategy and media evaluation and vast experience in team management, staff recruitment and training programs. He has worked as Editorial Director for Sky News Arabia, and Head of Arabic Service of Deutsche Welle TV where he has established and scaled the Arabic program to 18 hours daily, created innovative programs such as “Shabab Talk”; focusing on youth in the Arab world (2011 – present) – rated most successful program at DW till now, and has initiated and managed co-productions such as: “Meet Europe” with Abu Dhabi TV, “Culture Salon” with the Moroccan national broadcaster SNRT (2008 – 2010), “Youth without Frontiers” with the Egyptian TV Channel. He has vast training experience with broadcast media organisations in the region.
