This story sums up all main facts around the controversial closure of the OSCE office in Yerevan, its only office in the Caucasus. The office was closed after neighbouring Azerbaijan refused to agree on the extension of the mandate of the office. All decisions in the OSCE are taken by consensus among its members, including Azerbaijan. With the office a number of OSCE programs will be closed too.
