We love a show that represents minorities in the best way possible! Harlem has been one such show that portrays the life of the four black women, trying to be the best versions of themselves, while dealing with all the challenges that come their way. Harlem was incredibly popular amongst the black community, as well as other communities because everyone resonated with these women in some way or another. So it came as no shocker to everyone when Harlem got renewed for another season, which brings us to the much anticipated, Harlem Season 2!
Harlem Season 2 is going to be a lot more exciting than season 1 and we have a good feeling about it so far. If you thought these women had a whole lot going on in their lives in the first season, then you are absolutely not ready for what you’re going to witness in Harlem Season 2. Nevertheless, it’s our job to keep you posted about it, so keep reading to find out everything you need to know about Harlem Season 2, from the plot to the cast to the release date and more:
What Is The Plot of Harlem Season 2?
We have an official synopsis for Harlem Season 2, so let’s take a look at that before we dive into any other details regarding the upcoming season:
“After blowing up her career and disrupting her love life, Camille has to figure out how to put the pieces back together; Tye considers her future; Quinn goes on a journey of self-discovery; and Angie’s career takes a promising turn.”
By the looks of it, there’s clearly a lot in store for our favorite girls. If you haven’t figured it out yet, Harlem is all about four queens, aka Quinn, Angie, Tye, and Camille, who have an extremely strong bond and a whole lot of drama in their personal lives. Each of these women has their own struggles, but when they are together, it’s like a house on fire, and that’s exactly the kind of energy we can expect from Harlem Season 2 as well!
Harlem Season 2 will dive deeper into their career-related issues as well as their love lives, because both of these have been pivotal points in the previous season, and there will definitely be more of that in Harlem Season 2 as well. We’re really hoping that Angie’s career takes off in the upcoming season, and Camille figures out whom she wants to be with, while also taking a grand look at her career. We have a feeling Tye will take good care of herself, but she’s surely in for some drama in season 2, and as far as Quinn goes, she’s been a mess, but we love her. Here’s hoping she has a better season 2, and so do the rest of them!
The Cast of Harlem Season 2
Well, you’ve got one less thing to worry about because we’ve got some good news for you! All your favorite girls are reprising their roles for Harlem Season 2 because let’s face it, each and every one of them is irreplaceable and Harlem would lose a lot of its fan following if they were to replace any of the girls. Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson, and Shoniqua Shandai will be reprising their roles as Camille, Quinn, Tye, and Angie. We are more than certain that Harlem Season 2 will have the girls with a new style, new wardrobe, new hair, and new men, all of which the fans have loved so far.
Of course, it goes without saying that Harlem Season 2 will be incomplete with the supporting cast because these women surely do need support in more than many ways. While there isn’t a complete list of how many of the previous supporting cast are returning for Harlem Season 2, we know for certain that Tyler Lepley, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sullivan Jones will be reprising their roles. Maybe there will be a few new cast members as well who will stir the pot, we will have to wait and see until the show releases, which brings us to the next part of this article, and probably one of the most-anticipated questions in regards to Harlem Season 2.
