It’s hard to escape news of the former boy band member, whether he is starring in a new movie, adding dates to his concert tours, or posing on the cover of a fashion magazine. Harry Styles just announced that he is extending his current Love On Tour with dates in Asia! You might recognize him from your nearest billboard, or his music might have been on your Spotify playlists, and if not, he might be the “curly-haired guy from One Direction,” but we can guarantee he and his music have crossed your paths at some point or another.

Since Harry’s career has changed so much since his start and it only continues to grow. If the last 12 or so years, Harry has done everything from participating in a reality television competition to writing Grammy Award-winning music. Estimates vary a bit because Styles is still in the middle of his Love on Tour, but his net worth seems to fall between $90 million and $120 million! Undoubtedly, Harry Styles is one of the most popular singers in the industry right now, and his also dipping his toes in Hollywood, which only means that his net worth is bound to increase in the coming years. His fans are hoping he collaborates with some big names in the industry, especially Lizzo, who welcomed him to sing one of her most popular songs on stage, and the video went viral in no time.
English singer, songwriter, and actor Harry Edward styles on February 1, 1994, in Redditch, Worcestershire, England. His parents moved the family to Holmes Chapel in Cheshire, where he served as the lead singer for the band White Eskimo, a band originating from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School.
In April 2010, while working part-time at W. Mandeville Bakery, Styles was encouraged by his other to audition for the seventh series of the British singing competition The X Factor. First, he sang “Hey, Soul Sister” by Train, but when the judge and producer Simon Cowell suggested he try another sang, he opted for “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. He advanced to Bootcamp but was eliminated shortly thereafter. In July 2010, he and several others in his age group were brought back to form a group, which he suggested naming One Direction, and it stuck. The group became very popular very fast, and they ended up placing third overall in the competition. In January 2011, One Direction signed a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco records and released their debut single and album later the same year. The album Up All Night made One Direction the first British group to have their debut album reach number one in the United States. They released four more albums together – Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), Four (2014), and Made in the A.M. (2015).
After One Direction went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016, Styles moved forward with releasing his first solo album in May 2017 with Columbia Records, which debuted at number one in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. His debut single, “Sign of the Times,” peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the UK Singles Chart. From September 2017 through July 2018, Styles perform throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, on his first headlining concert tour, Harry Styles: Live on Tour.
“Lights Up,” the lead single from his second album Fine Line, debuted at number three in the UK in October 2019. Fine Line was released in December 2019 and peaked at number two in the UK, but topped the US charts. His Love On Tour began on September 4, 2021, in Las Vegas, after previously being postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. His third album, Harry’s House, was a critical and commercial success, its lead single, “As It Was,” becoming his second solo number-one single in both the United States and the United Kingdom. He received three MTV Video Music Awards in 2022, including Album of the Year for Harry’s House. As part of Love On Tour, Styles performed 15 sold-out shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, where a permanent banner was raised to commemorate the achievement, making him only the third artist in the venue’s history to be awarded this honor.
Alongside his music career, Styles also has tried his hand at acting. He made his feature film debut in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk in 2017 in the role of a British soldier named Alex in the Dunkirk evacuation during World War II. Other members of the ensemble cast included Tom Hardy, Fionn Whitehead, Cillian Murphy, and Kenneth Branagh. In 2022, he starred opposite Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling. Both the film and his performance received mixed reviews. He also starred as a closeted queer policeman in the 2022 romantic drama My Policeman. At the Toronto International Film Festival, the ensemble received the TIFF Tribute Award for performance, but overall, reviews of the film were less positive.
In 2011, Harry dated the late Caroline Flack who was presenting for The X Factor during his time on the show. At the time, Styles was only 17 and Flack was well into her 30s. He also very briefly dated British actress Emily Atack in 2012. He dated singer-songwriter Taylor Swift for about a year between 2012 and 2013, and fans speculate that his song “Two Ghosts” is actually about her. According to various sources, Harry briefly hooked up with Pussycat Dolls star and The X Factor host Nicole Scherzinger when she was 35 and he was 19, but nothing was ever confirmed by either of them.
Styles first started dating model Kendall Jenner in late 2013, but they broke up in 2014. After dating several other models, including Sara Sampaio and Georgia Fowler, he and Jenner reunited in 2015 and remained together for another year. From 2017 to 2018, he dated French-American model Camille Rowe, who is said to have inspired Fine Line.
Perhaps his most controversial relationship to date is his most recent one with actress and director Olivia Wilde. They dated from January 2021 to November 2022, and they supposedly began seeing each other while she was still with her ex, actor, and writer Jason Sudeikis. Olivia is 38 and Harry’s 28, and the couple received much criticism when traveling so much together while Olivia has two young children with Sudeikis.
