Helck Anime Release Date
Nanaki Nanao’s Helck Japanese manga series is completed and has been serialized in the MangaONE app. As of December 2017, the chapters have been collected into twelve tankobon volumes and the series anime adaptation announcement was made official by Satelight. They have revealed that the anime is ready to premiere on July 2023.
We are assuming it to release on the first Tuesday of July, based on other anime schedules. We will update the exact date once it gets revealed.
Helck Anime Plot & Expectations
The story is set in a world of humans and demons coexisting together. After the defeat of the Demon Lord by a lone human warrior, the demons have organized a tournament to crown the next demon lord for their kind but something’s not right. Demons get astonished at Helck’s appearance and rise in the tournaments quickly, the intriguing part is that Helck is a human who hates his kind and wants to become a demon lord.
Funny right? Vermilio the red, supervisor of the tournament detects that Helck might be a saboteur who wants to rig the match so he changes the matches into games of skills, and guess what? Helck remains victorious in the skill matches too.
As the story progresses Vermilio learns that Helck is a wanted criminal in the human race because he is under suspicion of killing his brother Cress, who killed the demon lord. Vermilio’s curiosity gets the better of him and he decides to spy on Helck to learn his true motive.
