Konosuba Plot
The story is about Kazuma Sato a Japanese shut-in NEET who dies an unexpected and embarrassing death that is hilariously stupid in its way. In the afterlife, he meets a Goddess named Aqua who offers to reincarnate Kazuma in a parallel world with MMORPG equipment and skills, where he can battle monsters and go on adventures.
Kazuma gets provoked by Aqua’s comments and chooses her to company him to the town of Axel in the new world. Kazuma soon realizes that her existence is useless because of her absent-mindedness and attitude.
Aqua is unable to return to her realm until she defeats the Devil King, so both of them form a party and start recruiting more members. They soon recruit two members; an explosion obsesses maniac magician named Megumin and a masochistic crusader named Darkness.
Kazuma realizes that the team is troublesome and that their dysfunctional abilities will never let him defeat the devil king, so he decides to live a normal life in the world. No matter how much he tries to avoid it; he ends up in battles leading to Devil King’s generals.
Konosuba Season 3 Plot & Expectations
The synopsis or plot has not been shared officially but Konosuba Season 3 will follow the manga or the light novel series. The light novel series has 17 volumes in total meaning there are enough source materials for another two seasons. The first two seasons covered up to 4 volumes while the movie covered volume 5.
In the next season, we are expecting volume 6 of the light novel to be adapted which focuses on Kazuma meeting with The Crown after his party’s victory against Devil King news gets spread.
The meeting with The Crown soon turns upside down and leads to chaos, Kazuma gets separated from his party, as they get involved in a conspiracy and focuses heavily on the Megumin-Kazuma romance. Darkness ends up agreeing to marry Lord Alderp to save her family from debt which creates a crack in the group.
We would get to witness some more loli jokes and hilarious nicknames in the future. We cannot wait to know what will happen, whether they will start having feelings or Kazuma will think of her as an explosion-obsessed kid.
The spin-off movie releasing on April 5 will cover Megumin’s past before she met Kazuma and others, this will be exciting to watch as well so do not forget to catch the movie this April.
