She began working as a child model with Ford Models at the age of three, booking ads for Calvin Klein Kids and Abercrombie. She also appeared in over 60 television commercials for brands like Pizza Hut and Jell-O. At age 10, she had her first big break when she won the role of Alexandra “Alli” Fowler on the soap opera Another World. The job that propelled her to stardom, though, was the dual role of Hallie Parker and Annie James in Disney’s The Parent Trap in 1998. She starred in several films for The Walt Disney Company, including the made-for-TV movies Life-Size with supermodel Tyra Banks and Get a Clue.
In 2003, Lohan starred in another Disney remake, Freaky Friday, alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. She even learned to play guitar and recorded a song for the film, which led to a five-album record deal.
