Lonely Castle in the Mirror Synopsis
Kokoro is in junior high school and unlike most of us she doesn’t fit in the school and secluded herself in her room. But everything changes one day when the mirror in her room shines and she gets sucked in it.
There she finds a different world, a fairy tale castle, and six unknown junior high students. Then a girl with a wolf mask appears and tells the students that they have been selected to have their one wish granted.
At this point, many questions arise inside every one of the students. Why were they chosen? What do they have in common? What is the wish each one of them holds but can’t tell anyone? When the secret is revealed their life will never be the same.

“I was really surprised when I heard that I was chosen for the role of Kokoro-chan.
I wondered if I had heard it wrong. After reading the original “Kagami no Kojou” as a recommendation, it was a novel I liked so much that I bought it myself and read it again.
So I’m very happy. It was my first time doing a voice audition. So, I was worried “Is this kind of feeling okay?”
I desperately practiced and challenged myself. Kokoro-chan is a little timid, and I can’t say the slightest thing or what I’m thinking, so I feel like I’m similar in that way.
When I was reading the original, I responded to Kokoro-chan. I was reading while thinking that I wanted to help, so in the same way, work that can be supported by everyone who watches it I will do my best to make it possible.”

“I’m a big fan of Mitsuki Tsujimura, so I still can’t believe that I’ve become a part of the world of the story I love, and I’m very happy.
When I first read the original, I was close in age to the main characters, so I wondered if she would be able to represent our feelings.
As I grow older and become closer to adulthood, when I read it again, I feel that the honest and pure feelings of the characters remind me of something.
I believe that one of the attractions of Mr. Tsujimura’s work is that it connects children with children. I hope that many people, including people around the same age as Kokoro and others, as well as adults, will see it.”
