One More Time, a Swedish comedy, will be available only on Netflix starting in April 2023. We have all the details you require for One More Time, such as the plot, actors, premiere date, and Netflix availability.
Coming soon to Netflix is the comedy One More Time, which was directed by Jonatan Etzler. Tove and Sofia Forsman are the authors. Eleonor Sager is in charge of producing the movie, with Breakable Films handling the production.
Netflix has given the go-ahead for Jonatan Etzler’s Swedish comedy movie, which is reminiscent of Groundhog Day. Hedda Stiernstedt from Beforeigners plays the lead. In the movie One More Time, Stiernstedt’s character Amelia is struck by a bus on the night of her 40th birthday.
Due to this, she awakens on her 18th birthday in 2002. She also has the opportunity to recreate her ideal day and transform her life into what she had envisioned. However, when she begins to awaken on this particular day often, she must ascertain the cause of the problem.
She quickly understands that she is caught in a time loop. She now needs to correct this to figuratively move on from the past and go back to the present. The feature, which will air in April of this year, was written by Tove and Sofie Forsman. Young Royals and The Playlist have also made them well-known.
Etzler, who earned a Student Academy Award for the short film Get Ready with Me, is also the film’s director. According to Stiernstedt, looking back on the early 2000s in retrospect feels like the proper time, and delving into that period is so much fun.
Amelia is portrayed by Hedda Stiernstedt in the primary role. While Stiernstedt established herself in prominent parts in Swedish dramas, she has yet to appear in a Netflix movie or television show. The Restaurant, Black Lake, and Beforeigners are among its components. She is an actress from Sweden. She is the Stiernstedt family’s first-born child; her parents are artist Jöran Modéer and teacher Metta Stiernstedt.
Fiona, a supporting character, is played by Miriam Ingrid in the meantime. Ingrid, who started acting only in 2017, has not yet had a leading role in a Netflix original. After appearing in several short films, she will make her feature film debut with One More Time. One More Time, Försvunna människor, and Beartown are Miriam Ingrid’s best-known works.
Elinor Silfversparre makes their acting debut in One More Time as Moa, a supporting character. Max, the romantic lead, is portrayed by Maxwell Cunningham. Cunningham has only been in one short film; One More Time is his first full-length film. In addition, Vanna Rosenberg, best known for her work on Kvarteret Skatan, will play Amelia’s mother.
Per Fritzell will thereafter appear as Amelia’s father. The Children of Noisy Village star Tove Edfeldt will play Adult Fiona in the film. The cast will also include Lo Kauppi from Beck and David Tainton from Winter Bay. They will play the roles of Adult Max and Yvonne. The cast is completed by Evelyn Mok from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Edvard Olsson as Patrik, Ahmed Berhan as Arez, and others.
There are a lot of contradictory accounts of the timing of the filming. However, based on what we know, filming began at the beginning of July 2022 and was finished by August 25th, 2022. We can also confirm that the One More Time duration is 85 minutes long, which is a fairly modest running length.
One More Time will be available on Netflix on Friday, April 21, 2023, according to a confirmation from the streaming service made even before the trailer was released.
Amelia is fired from her work, which appears to be a costume designer/stylist job, at the beginning of the film. It also occurred on her 40th birthday. She recalls her graduation from college when she had high expectations for a great life and a lot of ideas for what her future might entail.
Then all of a sudden, one is faced with a midlife crisis while standing on their crushed hopes. She indulges in some alcohol while listening to her favorite music to improve her mood. It only happens when she is crossing the road and is struck by a truck. However, when she awakens, she finds herself back on her 18th birthday, where her parents are toasting to her becoming an adult, rather than in a hospital.
Amelia initially appears perplexed but gradually gets excited about the chance to repeat the happiest moment of her life to date. She does, after all, have the nicest birthday compared to her 40th, but there’s a catch. It’s the same day again as she awakens. Every time she awakens on her 18th birthday, she has to repeat the same experiences over and over again.
What was first the best dream coming true becomes an unending cycle from which she is unable to break free. Amelia must determine how to revert to her more mature self and what wrongdoings might be impeding her progress. The makers of the comprehensive reproduction of the 2000s strove to pay homage to the period with extensive clothes and everything vintage. Additionally, this is currently trending.
