Overlord Season 5 Release Date
There have been no official announcements yet about season 5 but we are getting a movie which is a recap based on the Holy Arc which has been covered in season 4. There will surely be a season 5 coming soon as the manga is currently ongoing and the author has announced the story will end at vol 18 and there is a lot of source material to cover.
Looking at the pattern of the release we can predict that season 5 to arrive in 2025, we know that is a long time but Overlord came in 2015. Season 2 and Season 3 came in 2018 and Season 4 came in 2022, looking at this we can say that Season 5 is to come in 2025.
Overlord Plot
Overlord is an isekai anime where our main protagonist is transported to a game. A virtual game of Yggdrasil ran for 12 years and was the lifeline of our protagonist Momonga as Ainz Ooal Gown and his guildmates.
On the last day of the game Momonga logs and when he wakes he founds himself in the game and he happens to be none other than the strongest character Ainz.
Now he has the loyal NPCs serving him and maybe the game is over but the adventure has just started for him.
Overlord Previous Season Recap
Ainz continues his adventures to rule the world and he begins to weave the pieces together when the lizardman tried to destroy his motive but Ainz can’t be stopped and he advances.
The adventure continues as we see him facing various difficulties, the story still goes on and finally, we are here at Overlord Season 5.

Conclusion
We are rooting for the overpowered spells of Ainz but for the major part of the show we have seen Ainz doing all the things with ease. We want a little challenge that can bring Ainz to his bottom rock.
The problem with overpowered anime is that the show soon becomes boring and most of the time they include some comedy element in it. Everything is explained and apart from the new season, we want to see how the manga will end after a long wait.
