Rick and Morty has become one of the most loved adult animated shows across different streaming services, and with the concept of the multiverse, it has opened endless possibilities for different storylines, which constantly entertains the viewers. Since the series Rick and Morty has been so much success in the previous years, it was renewed for season 6, and now, as of December, Rick and Morty Season 6 is coming to an end, and we are all excited to see what happens this time around. Rick and Morty Season 6 took a slightly different approach this season, staying earthbound for a lot of episodes, which proved successful as per audience ratings and critic reviews.
Now that we approach Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10, we can’t help but wonder what is in store for all the viewers. Will this episode take place on Earth and in the Smith household? Or will Rick and Morty be transported somewhere else altogether? It isn’t long until we find out the answer to these questions and many more. So keep your portal gun aside for now, as we tell you everything you need to know about Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 ahead of its release:
As we mentioned before, Rick and Morty Season 6 has been one of a kind. Critics and viewers are claiming that Rick and Morty Season 6 is one of the best seasons so far, as it has struck that sweet balance that the viewers were looking for all these years. Rick and Morty is a very different show when compared to The Simpsons, Family Guy, or even Big Mouth. The show Rick and Morty has a classic fishbone structure, where there is one linear storyline aka Morty Smith, and his relationship with the mad scientist, Rick Sanchez, who is also his grandpa. However, several other subplots become entire episodes in themselves, making it very unique.
Rick and Morty Season 6 has seen some very weird and interesting plotlines in nine episodes so far, which only makes Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 very anticipated. So far, we have seen stay-at-home Beth and Space Beth strike a weirdly sexual relationship…talk about self-love, eh? Rick and Morty Season 6 also broke the fourth wall in the most interesting way possible with an intro that only a show like this could pull off, they’ve given Marvel Studios a run for their money. This season, we also saw Jerry become a superhero, yes, Jerry Smith who would rather stay at home and do nothing, was a superhero. Let’s not forget the fortune cookie episode where Jerry was destined to have a sexual relationship with his own mother, well, Rick and Morty does have a crude and dark sense of humor, and it shows. Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 9 saw an interesting concept too, we traveled all the to the sun, and there was a war amongst the planets, all because Morty accepted a sword and didn’t take Rick’s advice, sounds like any other Monday, honestly.
Amidst all this, Rick and Morty Season 6 did strike the perfect balance, as we mentioned before. There were episodes where Rick didn’t have the portal gun, which forced more episodes of the Smith family together, and those were loved by fans the most. Once his portal gun was fixed, Rick and Morty were back to their adventures. There was something for everyone this season, and we can’t wait to see what Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 has in store for us.
Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 9 did have a post-credit scene, which stays true to one of the Rick and Morty traditions. Although we hoped that the post-credit would give us a hint about Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10, that wasn’t the case. Instead, the post-credit scene was a call-back from a small part of Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 9. Nevertheless, let’s dive into what we can expect from Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10, which has been one of the most highly anticipated season finales of 2022. Let us begin with the title of the season finale which is, “Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation.” If you’re confused and had to re-read it a few times to completely understand it, don’t worry, you are not alone! Since it’s December, our best guess is that Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 will be a holiday-themed episode. The official synopsis of “Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation,” tells us about how Morty has always wanted a very certain gift for Christmas every year, but he hasn’t gotten it yet. Maybe this is the year Rick finally caves in and makes Morty’s Christmas wish come true.
Also, if you haven’t guessed yet, the title of Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 is a reference to the 1989 movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. So this confirms that it will be a Christmas-themed episode, and if we had to guess, it will include the Smith family spending Christmas together at their home, with some additional guests. We’re expecting Space Beth to be a part of this episode, but could there be more surprises? Maybe a certain evil someone? We’ll have to wait and find out!
The highly anticipated season finale is almost here, and you can watch Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 on the 11th of December, 2022. The episode will be available to stream on Adult Swim, Channel 4, or Netflix, depending on your location. Be prepared for an exciting season finale for the most experimental season of Rick and Morty so far.
There is a promo for Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 where we see the Smith family, including Space Beth, all sitting together on Christmas morning as Rick brings them presents. Rick is shown giving presents to everyone but Morty, and we believe that gift will be the driving point of the season finale.
However, there is also a second promo, which has left the fans confused as it has nothing to do with Christmas, but maybe it is related to Morty’s present. We’ll have to wait and see, but we’re hoping the run time for the season finale is longer!
Although Rick and Morty Season 6 is coming to an end, rest assured, Season 7 is already in the works, and Rick and Morty will return! How excited are you for the Christmas episode? Do let us know in the comments!
