What is the Plot of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
Sony has released the official synopsis of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which tells us that this time Miles Morales will be a part of an adventure that’s bigger than him, and Morales will go from being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to transporting himself across the multiverse, where he will join forces with none other than Gwen Stacy. Gwen and Miles will find new allies on the way, but together, they will all face an evil that will be bigger than anything that they have ever encountered. Sources have confirmed that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will have a large array of characters, more precisely, 240 characters, yes, you read that correctly! Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is bound to give competition to movies like Avengers: Endgame. Some of the confirmed characters include The Spot, Spider-Woman, Takuya Yamashiro, Vulture, and Spider-Ham amongst others.
It will be a treat to see how all these characters spread across the multiverse and impact Miles Morales and his running storyline. There will be a grand total of six realities to be precise, and it will take the multiverse to a whole new level! Sony has a history of partnering with different streaming services, but since the first movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is available to stream on Netflix, we are hoping that it is the same case for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse too. While the first look is almost three minutes long, it still isn’t the complete trailer, and we probably cannot expect one until April or May 2023.
