“A night of passion leads to love between con man Charlie and undercover CIA officer Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the “family business” so he can get out for good, Emma’s closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in hand – forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences. The series is based on the Korean Broadcasting System series entitled My Fellow Citizens.”

The Plot of The Company You Keep

We have only read the official synopsis of The Company You Keep and we already love it. Normally, people in two different professions can fall in love and live a happy and normal life, but that won’t be the case with Charlie and Emma. Sometimes a one-night stand doesn’t remain a one-night stand and leads to years and years of love, but can the same happen with this couple? They are definitely in different professions, but the kind that clashes terribly with each other, and we are not too certain it will work out. A criminal and a CIA agent, that truly has to be the worst combination to ever exist.

Things only seem to get more complicated between Emma and Charlie as The Company You Keep progresses, and it will be interesting to see how their relationship pans out as the episodes move forward. Charlie’s family is also extremely involved in the affairs, and with several moving parts in The Company You Keep, we can expect a whole lot of action, passion, and drama.

The Cast of The Company You Keep

While the plot of The Company You Keep is going to be more than enough to keep you hooked, it will be a lot more tempting when you look at the cast of The Company You Keep, and we can’t wait to tell you about it. The lead of The Company You Keep, aka Charlie will be played by none other than Milo Ventimiglia. Ventimiglia is a fan favorite, especially after his role in the popular tv show, This is Us. Men wanted to be him, and women wanted to be with him. However, he has also appeared in several other movies and shows including The Art of Racing in the Rain, Gilmore Girls, That’s My Boy, and She’s All That. It will be interesting to see Ventimiglia play the role of a conman and indulge in a passionate affair.

Speaking of passionate affairs, joining Ventimiglia, we have Catherine Haena Kim who will be playing the role of Emma. You might recognize Catherine Haena Kim from movies and shows like Boyfriends of Christmas Past, aTypical Wednesday, A Hard Problem, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and A Christmas Family Reunion amongst many others. It will be interesting to see Catherine Haena Kim and Milo Ventimiglia because, by the looks of it, they are about to have some brilliant on-screen chemistry.

Other cast members who will be joining the cast of The Company You Keep are William Fichtner, Tim Chiou, Freda Foh Shen, James Saito, and Sarah Wayne Callies amongst others. It will be interesting to see the characters these cast members play and how they impact the narrative of The Company You Keep.

The countdown for The Company You Keep has begun because the release date is less than a month away and we have our calendars marked. The Company You Keep is slated to release on the 19th of February and will be available to stream on Hulu and the ABC platform. Depending on the location you are in, you might even be able to stream The Company You Keep on Disney+. This might not be the romantic comedy you are looking for this Valentine’s Day but there will be a whole lot of passion. You can expect the other episodes to stream weakly, so make sure you set an alarm!
