The Great Cleric Release Date
Broccoli Lion’s The Great Cleric Japanese light novel series was officially published in October 2015 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website and the manga adaptation of the same is being illustrated by Hiiro Akikaze and is being serialized since June 2017.
Looks like the manga caught the attention of many readers and has landed on an anime adaptation.
The anime series will be produced by Yokohama animation laboratory and Cloud Hearts which is set to premiere in July 2023. We feel that the anime may be similar to My Camping Cooking Skill in Another World anime or similar to Kamikatsu. The exact date has not been revealed yet, once it’s confirmed we will update our article.
The Great Cleric Plot & Expectations
Wondering what the anime will be about? Then just read the synopsis that we have prepared for people with peak curiosity when it comes to new animes. The story follows a bet between Earth’s God of Destiny and Galdardia’s chief god. The god of destiny loses the bet and hands over ten mediocre souls to the chief.
The chief handed them new vessels, and among those souls was an ordinary salaryman/clerk who made it to those souls after fighting against his destiny of doom. Now, the question is how will he survive? whether he will be able to live a normal life? No one knows not even the author of the story himself.

Is There Any The Great Cleric Trailer Released Yet?
Yes, a short teaser has been revealed and to be honest, the animation does not look that great, although there were a few scenes that would make you laugh besides that there was nothing special about it. You can check out The Great Cleric trailer on youtube.
Where to Watch The Great Cleric?
The Great Cleric will be broadcasted on Tokyo MX TV and BS11 channels in Japan, the delivery information is yet to be shared but we are anticipating for HIDIVE to stream the anime.
