Bert Kreischer was an average student at college and ended up taking the Russian language as one of his courses, and despite studying the language, he barely knew anything.

Eventually, his college takes him and his class to Russia, and Bert is the kind of student who welcomes all sorts of trouble for a lot of fun. In the midst of fun, vodka, and calling himself the machine, Bert gets friendly and wrapped up with the Russian mafia. In reality, Bert helped the mafia rob his own classmates and an entire train.
