Let’s start with some good news first! The Sex Lives of College Girls has been renewed for another season; this was the best possible outcome we could have expected. Fans can relax and rejoice because while a lot of shows like Fate: The Winx Saga or Warrior Nun are being canceled, The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 will be on its way soon! Maybe it’s a good thing The Sex Lives of College Girls isn’t being streamed on Netflix, even though HBO Max also has a penchant for canceling shows.
Back to the good news, The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 was announced a few days before the finale of the second season, which was probably the best time to do so. The finale of The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 ended on a few bitter and emotional cliffhangers, but at least now the fans can relax, knowing that their favorite girls will be back for another season and a whole lot of drama and fun.
Since the announcement is still fresh, there is very little we know about The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3, however, we will try and cover everything possible so you don’t have to look elsewhere!
While we wait for official plot details about The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3, the second season’s finale episode gives us an idea about what might happen in season 3, so let’s get on with it.
One of the biggest cliffhangers revolved around Bela, who probably had the worst luck in the second season after a series of bad decisions.
Bela has now decided to transfer out of Essex College, but will she really follow through with this decision? Something tells us that The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 will have Leighton, Whitney, Kimberly, and a few other side characters trying to convince Bela to stay because we truly cannot imagine Essex College without her and everything that she does. Despite her being shown as the bad guy several times in season 2, fans still have a lot of hope for Bela.
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 will definitely see a conflict between Kimberly and Whitney after Whitney witnessed Kimberly kissing Canaan, who was Whitney’s ex, and someone she clearly still has feelings for. Whitney has decided to move into the Kappa house, despite making a prior commitment to Kimberly about rooming with her next year. While a drift between two great friends won’t be pleasant, we do agree that it was needed to help move the plot forward.
As for Leighton, she has turned over a new leaf altogether and has gotten back with her ex, Alicia. While everything is going well for her, we do know that the creators of the show love putting these characters through hurdles and turmoil, so it will be interesting to see what Leighton faces next year. We sure hope it isn’t another STD!
Hopefully, in the coming months, we will have a better idea about what’s about to happen at Essex College next year!
We’re hoping that Alyah Chanelle Scott, Reneé Rapp, Pauline Chalamet, and Amrit Kaur all reprise their roles as Whitney, Leighton, Kimberly, and Bela respectively. However, could season 2 have been Kaur’s last appearance? Or was the cliffhanger just to help drive her character toward redemption in The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3? It will only be a matter of time before we find out more because the show simply wouldn’t be the same without Kaur, and fans wholeheartedly agree.
Apart from the main girls, we can expect to see some of the regular side characters who enhance the show reprise their roles for The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3.
These will include Midori Francis, Christopher Meyer, Mekki Leeper, and Ilia Isorelýs Paulino. Despite not being a part of the main four, these actors and actresses have made sure that their characters have made a place for themselves as regulars in this show, and we can’t wait to see what happens to them in the upcoming season!
As of now, there is no set date on when The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 will premiere, but based on the last two seasons, we can make our guesses! Season 1 arrived in the winter of 2021, and season 2 arrived in the winter of 2022.
So, if the creators, cast, and crew keep up the momentum, we can expect to see The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 in the winter of 2023!
There is no trailer for The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 just yet, but we can expect to see one closer to the release date! Make sure you check out the website for any updates.
The Sex Lives of College Girls became a groundbreaking and entertaining show, and viewers have admitted to liking this show more than they had expected. The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 will definitely be more dramatic than the previous seasons, and hopefully, we learn more about it in the coming months.
While we know this question isn’t fair, we have to ask. Between Leighton, Whitney, Bela, and Kimberly, who would you pick as your roommate at college?
