Before we move to Tower of God Season 2, let’s look at Tower of God Manhwa which has created a long-lasting buzz that might go on for years because of its mind-bugging plot and top-notch action art.
Well, people who are eager to know about Tower of God Season 2 have come to the right place, so without any further adieu let’s get started.
Tower of God Season 2 is still in google trends although the graph has ups and downs it does means that people are still waiting for another season. Season 1 premiered on April 1, 2020, and broadcasted 13 episodes.
The last episode ended with a massive cliffhanger that made viewers flood social media for another sequel. On the other hand critics and manhwa, readers have complained that the anime adaptation lacked many elements and was not up to the mark.
Now let’s be real here, Korean manhwas rarely get anime adaptations or get another sequel unless they get a lot of support from fans and the anime industry but as of now, it’s 50-50.
But guess what? on August 2022, Tower of God Season 2 got finally confirmed and they have already announced that the production is underway at Crunchyroll Expo 2022.
The exact date has not been revealed yet but we are expecting it to release by fall 2024.
The creator SIU has also shared a message on social media for fans who are expecting Tower of God Season 2, and the message is shared below:
“It seems like season 1 of the animation just came out yesterday, but now I’ll have a chance to see all of you again through season 2! I’m so grateful to all of the anime production staff as well as the readers, and I can’t wait to see how season 2 turns out. Thank you as always for all your support!”
Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the plot of Tower of God:
“Reach the top, and everything will be yours. At the top of the tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours. You can become a god.
This is the story of the beginning and the end of Rachel, the girl who climbed the tower so she could see the stars, and Bam, the boy who needed nothing but her.”
If you remember the last scene where Rachel pushes Bam and he disappears on the floor of tests, suddenly reappears after five whole years. But there’s a drastic change between the younger version and the latter version of Bam.
Bam has changed his name to Jue Viole Grace, pretty fancy right? And he becomes a potential slayer candidate for the FUG organization whose sole purpose is to get rid of the Tower King.
During his climb, he not only meets his old friends but also makes new friends along the way.
He will face a lot of strong irregulars and hurdles and if you are curious to know what happens next, then; you will have to wait for Tower of God Season 2 or you can just go and read the manhwa.
We are expecting the original cast and staff members to return, you can check the expected cast & Staff member list below.
