Yugo Aosaki’s mystery Japanese novel series titled Undead Girl Murder Farce has caught the attention of many readers and that’s how it landed an anime adaptation.

The story is set in the late 19th and 20th centuries in a world of supernatural and magical creatures. Tsugaru Shinuichi is a half-demon who has a servant named Shizuku Hasei.
They both together leave Japan to travel and embark on a journey across Europe to retrieve the body of Aya Rindo.
Now who is this Aya? Aya was decapitated by an unknown villain before the story began and Aya’s head is the only evidence connecting the convict, thus the crime thriller begins.

A monster detective, a comedy that travels around Europe to regain the body “Undead Girl Murderfalls” (published by Kodansha Taiga) by Yugo Aozaki, who won the 22nd Tetsuya Ayukawa Award, has been made into a TV animation.
A mysterious road movie in which two-dimensional characters such as vampires, werewolves, and phantom thieves Lupine, Sherlock Holmes, and Jack the Ripper travel around Europe to recover the main character’s stolen body while battling with different abilities.
Animation production is handled by Lapin Truck, which has produced “Sarazanmai” and “Theatrical version of Mawaru Penguindrum”. This work also expresses high-quality images.
Also, “Kaguya-sama wants to tell you? The director is Mamoru Hatakeyama, who has been in charge of topical works such as “Geniuses’ Love Brain Battle” series and “Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju”, and has worked on many hits such as “Kingdom” and “Golden Kamuy”.
