WandaVision has been one of Marvel Studio’s most popular series to date, in comparison to series like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and even Loki. Ever since Avengers: Age of Ultron, Wanda has been that character that everyone has been curious about, and if you’re a comic book fan, you know exactly why. There is ongoing and unsettled debate on who the strongest Avenger is, and it always comes down to Wanda and Thor, despite Thor being a God. Anyway, we could talk about Wanda all day, but right now our focus remains on WandaVision Season 2 and the possibility of it.
Originally, there were talks about all Marvel series only getting one season, but now that Loki Season 2 has been announced, everyone wants to know whether or not WandaVision Season 2 will happen, despite it originally being labeled a limited event. Wanda’s story has gone too dark for fans to not receive some closure because they certainly weren’t happy with how Wanda’s story ended in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. So, there’s a lot to unpack here and we’re going to help you do just. Here’s everything you need to know about the potential WandaVision Season 2:

Has WandaVision Been Renewed for Another Season?
We’re going to start with some bad news, and that is WandaVision Season 2 hasn’t been renewed yet and isn’t in the works. When Phases 5 and 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were announced, fans were really hoping for an announcement regarding WandaVision Season 2, however, that never happened. WandaVision hasn’t officially been canceled either, and we do believe Wanda is the kind of character who has a lot more in store for her, especially after becoming Scarlet Witch.
It would be a shame if WandaVision Season 2 never happened, but we can at least hope to see more of Wanda and Vision in shows like Agatha: Coven of Chaos. There have also been rumors about the beloved character Vision getting his own show down the line, and if that happens, Wanda will definitely be around. So, even if there is no WandaVision Season 2, there will be Wanda and Vision, and that’s something we can guarantee.
What Will WandaVision Season 2 Be About?
Since WandaVision Season 2 hasn’t been confirmed yet, there is no news regarding any plot details about this show, but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate. WandaVision Season 2 could take place either right after the first show ended, and show us more about Wanda’s life before Doctor Strange approached her. Or, WandaVision Season 2 could take place after the events of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, which is the more likely possibility, and we can talk a little bit more about that.
At the end of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, we have absolutely no idea about what happens to Wanda, or even if she is alive. However, at the end of the day, she is Scarlet Witch and Marvel Studios wouldn’t simply kill off one of their best characters, it would be like Netflix canceling 1899. Now, it would be interesting to see the kind of Wanda we witness in WandaVision Season 2, and how she manages to reconnect with Vision, because at the end of the day, he’s all she has left, even though he isn’t really around, but some version of him is. We know, it’s complicated, but if you watch the first season of WandaVision and Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, you will know exactly what we’re talking about.
The third possibility, which would be interesting to explore would be Wanda and Vision in a different timeline altogether. This is a very popular fan theory and would separate everything from the mess that has been created so far. Albeit, this is only a fan theory, something tells us that Marvel Studios does take into consideration what the fans want from time to time. Everyone loved the first season of WandaVision and how each episode was inspired by different sitcoms, and maybe we will get to see that once again!
The Cast of WandaVision Season 2
Based on the previous season and some speculation, we really do hope that Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Wanda and Vision, as the two are incredibly passionate about these characters and have managed to bring them to life for all of us. Whether you look at the comics, or the movies, Wanda and Vision have one of the most epic romances in Marvel, and Olsen and Bettany have some brilliant on-screen chemistry that we want to see more of.
WandaVision Season 2 would be incomplete without Kathryn Hahn playing the role of Agatha. Although Hahn is currently busy with her own show, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, we truly hope she makes time for WandaVision Season 2, should it happen. Olsen and Hahn on and off-screen are a riot together, and fans want to see more of that.
Other cast members who might reprise their roles for WandaVision Season 2 are Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, Randall Park, and Evan Peters. Based on how the season goes, and what the plot will be, there could be several other additions to WandaVision Season 2.
When and Where Can You Watch WandaVision Season 2?
Right now, there is no confirmed release date for WandaVision Season 2, and we don’t think it’s going to happen until 2025 at least. We know that’s a long wait, but all good things take time. However, this doesn’t mean that you won’t see Wanda until 2025.
She might appear in any of the upcoming series and movies, so make sure you watch them all and stay till the end credits. While we are discussing fan theories, there’s also one that says WandaVision might return as a holiday special, and if that were to happen, we could expect one in 2024 at least!
Is There a Trailer for WandaVision Season 2?
While there is no official trailer for WandaVision Season 2, there are several fan-made trailers and concept trailers, showing just how much faith people have that WandaVision Season 2 will actually happen someday. So, if you want to watch those, we suggest heading over to YouTube right away!
