Season two is now being released on June 16, this year. So peeps, tighten up your boots for an exciting Dance of Dragon.
Earlier the show was rumored to have 10 episodes but later the showrunner cut it down to eight episodes. It is also been confirmed that season 3 is also underway along with season 4. The series is available on HBO Max.
What Happened in House Of Dragon Season 1?
In House of Dragon season 1, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen journeyed from King’s Landing to Dragonstone, after hearing King Viserys’ demise. Aegon, who now ascends the throne of Hightower-led Greens. After Princess Rhaenyra shocked by this news ended up having premature labor; leading to her daughter’s loss. Due to the repercussions of this, Prince Daemon Targaryen, Rhaenyra is ready to bring the Hightower throne but Rhaenyra stops him.
She extended a peace treaty with Aegon, asking for a reconciliation. At the Storm’s End, Lucerys comes up with a marriage pact for Vhagar. The Lord of Storm’s End, enticed by Aemond’s proposals, which included a marriage pact, turned away Lucerys. After a joke turns otherwise, Vhagar (she-dragon) eats up Arrax.
In the aftermath, Daemon delivered the somber news to Rhaenyra, and though the exact words were unheard, a tragedy had befallen. As Rhaenyra, shaken and resolute, approached the fireplace, she turned with a gaze establishing the grounds for season 2.
House Of Dragon Season 2: What To Expect?
With the finale episode of season 1, the second season will be picked after the events of after the events of the courageous war and Rhaenyra walks into the fireplace and gives a a deadly glare, announcing the Dance of Dragons.
As per the teaser, we see King Victoria’s death cause a new war in the empire. Everything will be brought to a fiery end.
