Wednesday actor Jenna Ortega is all set to make a comeback with her exciting series Wednesday 2. The series became an instant hit among fans in 2022. The series depicted a horror mystery happening in Nevermore. After much success in the series, fans are impatiently waiting for a season 2.
Season 2 has been announced but in a recent interaction with Deadline, Jenna gave a few spoilers of the series.
Wednesday Season 2 going to be more interesting than ever
During an interaction with Deadline, the ‘Scream VI‘ actress gave a little sneak-peak into her upcoming horror-comedy Wednesday season 2 on Netflix. She excitedly said that the series was going to be very enticing and filled with horrors. She said,
“We’re leaning into a little bit more horror but it’s exciting because throughout the show, while Wednesday does need a little bit of an arc, she never really changes and that’s the wonderful thing about her,” Ortega teased to E! “There’s good one-liners, and I think everything’s bigger, it’s a lot more action-packed. Each episode will probably feel a little bit more like a movie, which is nice.”
The season was renewed in January and is reportedly said to show more of the Adams family and Wednesday’s relationship with her mother. Season 2 is set to be filmed in summer in Ireland. The shoot is beginning in April 2024.
Earlier the shoot was going to happen in 2023 but the strikes led to a delay in the production. So the potential release of the series could be 2025. Jenna is set to be co-producing season 2.
